Spring Things, Spring Pop Ups, and Our Breezy Days Blend

Hello All! Spring has arrived and we are welcoming it with open arms here in central Ohio. This winter was particularly challenging. Not necessarily colder than normal, but we had a lot of snow - and it felt like the energy was amping up and up for change and transformation, at a time when rest is usually the norm. The Lunar year of the Wood Snake in the Oriental calendar came to a close, and now we are gladly welcoming the Lunar year of the Fire Horse.

There was a lot that I shed this winter that I didn't need. Maybe if you have an Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) Sun Zodiac, like me a Taurus, you were more affected by the Wood element in this recent Snake year. I know I made some of the biggest transitions in my life this year - moving residences and studios, releasing old energies, and understanding life in new and interesting ways. I culminated the Lunar year by shedding a large fibroid or the full lining of my uterus which was incredibly painful but freed up energy, space, and movement in my abdomen, for which I am grateful.

Breezy Days is a scent that I developed with the gratitude, peace, and whimsy that Spring time brings. It is a combination of Basil and May Chang (also known as Litsea) essential oils. Basil has an extremely high linalool content, which is the wonderful compound that makes lavender essential oil so calming or anxiolytic. On the other hand, May Chang uplifts with its properties and its sweet lemon candy scent. The result is a breezy sensation!
